unikyle
I'm Kyle Campbell, unicyclist & juggler from Evanston, Illinois.
I first picked up a unicycle in November 2014. Less than two years later, I earned my first medal at UNICON (the world championships) in Spain. Since then I have medalled at two other UNICONs, been prominently featured on the front pages of the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times, and twice rode over 400 miles across Iowa (my home state!) during RAGBRAI.
I give free lessons to children and adults, lead local parades on my 7" giraffe unicycle, and promote and participate in community riding events. It's more fun on one!
GIRAFFE
I ride my "giraffe" unicycle along the shores of Lake Michigan on the Evanston Lakefront Path, often while juggling three clubs.
I do this for fun, but have also ridden in parades including multiple Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parades (even being featured on BOTH the Trib and Sun Times), 4th of July, Halloween, and Christmas parades in both Illinois and California.
BASKETBALL
The reason why I started unicycling in the first place: Unicycle Basketball. I've earned three medals (one silver and two bronze) at the Unicon World Championships in Spain, Korea, and France.
I'm currently training hard for Unicon 21. For the first time in 22 years, Unicon is in the United States and Team Swish is looking SO STRONG.
RAGBRAI
I rode across Iowa - my home state - during RAGBRAI in 2021 and 2023. In 2023, I was proudly a part of the Powered By Plants Cycling Team.
I'm especially proud of riding a full 100 Mile Century during training in 2023, becoming the 96th person to log a full century on Unicyclist.com!
